Automotive industry

The automotive industry is a key sector of the Hungarian economy. Especially if you include related automotive suppliers such as Bosch Group, Denso, Jabil and FAG in Debrecen. The automotive industry is a constant innovation in our lives. New models are being developed, new technologies are emerging and they have to be produced in large numbers. Automotive manufacturers have two options. Either they can build new equipment to meet new demands or they can adapt existing production lines. Either way, both are energy-intensive, without compromising quality. The parts produced for the automotive industry are subjected to rigorous testing and certification, because no one wants to have to recall a product because of a faulty part. We are present in this sector, mainly with Special Purpose machines or equipment, but we are also looking for opportunities to supply components. We currently have a partner for whom we supply manufactured parts in medium series. Our company’s production organisation staff and the staff involved in the production of automotive components have also attended a training course on the requirements of the automotive standard (IATF 16949:2016).

Our automotive references

At the beginning of our operations, we worked for General Electric, one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of automotive lamps in the region. We mainly manufactured equipment for testing H1 and H7 bulbs.
Later on, we sought to establish contacts with similar companies setting up in Hungary, offering our engineering and manufacturing services for the production of Special Purpose Machines.
Today, we have a long list of automotive partners. We supplied Denso with testing and qualification equipment, Bosch with clamping equipment and production line special purpose equipment. We have also produced for Jabil, including an in-production assembly station.

How do we work?

In the automative industry, they don’t ask for much. Just professional parts delivered on time, on budget, in large quantities. Fortunately, our experience in the aerospace industry has helped us a lot.
In the design and manufacture of equipment, we have seen how crucial it is to schedule projects accurately, to define the aspects to be taken into account in the design, or even to define the sequence of operations, or to integrate the machine into the ERP system at the installation site.
We have had to grow up to do this, but today we can safely say that we have reached that particular bar. With the experience we have gained so far, we are now confidently embarking on new design and manufacturing tasks with our team of mechanical, electrical and software engineers.
